Yes you can as long as each story meets the submission guidelines.
what is erotica?
It is fiction which has explicit sexual content where the sex is the primary focus of the story.
How many short Stories can one person enter into the writing contest?
You can enter as many short stories as you want as long as they meet the criteria for submission.
Since we email our submission, do we need acover page, and do our last name go on each page?
Yes, please have a cover page with your name and email address. Also, please do not include your name in the footer or header of each page.
Thank you Judah, I shall submit mine soon.
In the body of the email submission, do you want the following in the order given…
Bio, word count, name & email
Thanks!
The order is irrelevant as long as the email is clean and concise. Please include you email, name, and word count, but at this point the the bio is unnecessary though we will ask for it if your story is selected so you might as well send it.
I self published a collection of short stories It sold only a few hundred copies, (I know a lot of people). Can I submit any of these stories?
Yes, you may.
Is this an international contests…..or only confined to us and canadian residents only? Do I need to be 18 yrs to enter?
Writers from any country may submit stories, but they must be in English. You can be any age. Since we are publishing it in a free magazine we don’t need guardian consent for the release of your work since no money is being made from the publication of the story. We will judge your story based on the merits of the story itself and nothing else.
Does the writer retain the copyright of the stories that are submitted?
We hold printing rights up until the publication of the magazine at which point all rights revert back to author. Also, we would like to post your stories to our site to display the winners with your consent.
Who are the judges?
Me, John Sleek, and Pamela Reese as of now, but we might bring on some more people as submissions grow.
Is it confined to the short stories only or something else like travelogues/one’s experience of life could be touched upon as well?
We are only accepting short stories at this time, but if you structure your travelogue as a story we would be more than willing to consider it.
Hello Judah,
I would like to enter my short story in this contest, however it was published not in my blog but in a community web portal though my byline is under the title, would that be valid?
As long as it was not published in print and you still have the print rights then it would be acceptable to submit.
The contest for this year is now closed to submissions. Thank you so much for everyone who participated.
